Therapy Session Details
Welcome to Therapy with Me
I’m a psychotherapist at Fit Partnership in Esher, where I work as a Fit Protocol Partner, and I also run my own practice, Urban Healing Therapy. I’m a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). My goal is to support you in exploring and understanding yourself, your life experiences, and your relationships in a safe and collaborative space.

What to Expect from Our Work Together
Session Details
Each session lasts 50 minutes, and I’ll ensure we start and end on time to respect both our schedules. If you arrive late, I’ll still see you, but the session will need to end as planned.
You’re welcome to end therapy whenever feels right for you, though I ask for at least 2 weeks’ notice (ideally a month) so we can work together towards a meaningful and constructive closure. If I ever feel therapy needs to end for any reason, I’ll discuss this with you openly and give at least a month’s notice.
Supervision for Quality Care
To ensure I’m offering you the best support, I regularly meet with a UKCP-accredited supervisor to reflect on my work. Your case may be discussed, but rest assured, my supervisor is also bound by confidentiality and the UKCP Code of Ethics.
Planned Breaks:
I’ll give you as much notice as possible (at least 2 weeks, but I’ll aim for more) if I need to take a break, like for holidays. I’d appreciate it if you could let me know about your planned absences too, so we can plan.
Your Privacy:
Everything we discuss is confidential, and I’ll destroy all personal information once our work together ends. I’ll only share information outside our sessions if:
I’m ordered to by a court of law, there’s a serious risk to your safety or someone else’s, a child is at risk, or you disclose plans to commit a serious crime.
If any of these arise, I’ll always aim to talk with you first before acting.
Holistic Care
I work alongside other health professionals at Fit Partnership because I believe the mind and body are deeply connected. If I think working with another professional could support your growth alongside the therapy we do, I’ll discuss this with you to see if it feels right.
Online Sessions
If we meet online, I want it to feel as close to in-person as possible. Please find a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed or overheard. Turn off notifications, have tissues handy, and keep a phone nearby in case Zoom has issues—I’ll do the same.
Medication
Please let me know if you’re taking any ongoing medication, as this can help me better understand how to support you.
Staying Connected
You can reach me at 07961554548 if you need to let me know you’re running late or can’t attend a session due to something unexpected. I’d prefer to keep contact outside sessions for these purposes so we can focus fully on our time together.
Cancellations and Changes
I understand life can be unpredictable, but I have a one-week cancellation policy. If you cancel or miss a session with less than a full week’s notice, the session will be charged in full. If you know more than a week in advance that you’ll miss a session, let me know, and I’ll do my best to find another time, though I can’t guarantee availability. Please share any planned absences early so we can work around them.
Why This Matters
These guidelines help create a clear and supportive framework for our work together. They ensure we both know what to expect, so we can focus on what matters most—your growth and well-being. If anything feels unclear or you’d like to discuss any part of this, I’m here to talk it through with you.
Payment
Payment needs to be made in advance of each session or, if more convenient, monthly. The fee for each session is payable by bank transfer. Fees will be reviewed at the beginning of January 2026 and each January after.
